For the past 10 years, SPPRC and its owner Kirk Thompson have been involved with multiple projects at our pool facility in Williamsport, MD. We first met Kirk when we had problem with another commercial company who conducted a VGB project wrongly, which meant we could not get state approval. Kirk’s company came in, filed the proper state and county construction and operating permits along with drawings and specs. They propelled this project along with handling the construction corrections promptly allowing us to operate and pass inspection before the deadline date. When we wanted to add a diving board to an existing pool, once again, Kirk and his company stepped in to help us complete the project with professional efficiency. In the past 4 years, we have had no issues with yearly inspections and our most recent ADA project was completed with ease. Kirk and his company offer fair industry pricing and a level of expertise that is invaluable to our organization. If you want a job done correctly and in a timely manner, there can be no other choice but SPPRC and Kirk Thompson.

I first met Kirk from SPPRC when we opened our pool. Kirk was brought in by our pool company to open the pool and educate us on the pool equipment. He was very accommodating of our schedule, and did a great job explaining the equipment. He also went out of his way to make himself available anytime by cell phone - day or night, week day or weekend. As new pool owners, the equipment can be very intimidating. It can also be worrisome to deal with chemical balancing. Kirk set our minds at ease and gave us great advice on what to do that is essential, and what is not. Set foot in a pool store and you are quickly overwhelmed with chemical choices - it is difficult to know what would be good for your pool, and what is unnecessary. Kirk outlined the basics and made it easy for us to get only what we needed.
Along the way, Kirk was great with educating us on not only the equipment, but other aspects of our new pool as well. Had we known about his services before we bought, we may have done a few things differently - or at least known some other questions to ask. As it turns out we hired a great pool company and everything is wonderful, but it would have been nice to know a few things ahead of time.
We would highly recommend Kirk and SPPRC for anyone who is looking to build a new pool, renovate an existing one, or simply wants to pick the brain of someone who is definitely in the know when it comes to swimming pools!

Kirk is the BEST pool service provider there is! We met Kirk about 6 or 7 years ago when we had a leak in our pool and 2 other pool companies could not determine where the leak was (and one of these companies was the company that installed the pool!). Needless to say, we were getting very frustrated with the whole situation.
Then along came Kirk to save the day! Using currently technology, he was able to locate the leak timely and quickly made the repair. This was a complicated leak that was in one of the many PVC pipes directing water to/from our skimmers. Kirk was patient and totally focusing on isolating the leak and made sure there were no other leaks in the remaining PVC piping. We have a sophisticated pool with a spa and water fall, so this was no easy task.
Since that time, Kirk has been our go to guy for all our pools questions. He has advised us on the type of filters, heaters, and liners that would meet the needs of all aspects of our pool. We have complete confidence in all his recommendations!
Kirk is courteous, professional and extremely experienced and as long as he is in the pool business he will be the one servicing our pool!
No other company or technician seems to have the skills and knowledge that he has, and we would recommend only him for anyone looking for excellent pool service!
